Our Story

CIPS training should be personal, practical, and affordable.

APS CIPS was founded with a simple belief: CIPS training should be personal, practical, and affordable.

Too many providers offer large class sizes, generic materials, and hidden fees. We saw an opportunity to do things differently, to combine the rigour of professional CIPS training with the personal attention that actually helps people pass.

Every course we offer is all-inclusive. That means CIPS membership, official study guides, all exam fees and even a free resit. Unrivalled tutor support is included as standard. No surprise invoices, no bolt-on extras. Just everything you need to achieve your qualification.

With our virtual offering we keep our cohorts small with a maximum of 12 delegates per course, because we believe in knowing every student by name, understanding their strengths, and helping them through the areas they find difficult.

Founder and lead tutor

Meet Katie Jarvis-Grove FCIPS Chartered.

Katie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS) with over 20 years of procurement experience across both public and private sectors. Her career spans some of the UK’s most recognisable organisations, including Bentley Motors, Lotus, NHS, and Princes Foods.

As a CIPS associate trainer for multiple providers, Katie developed a teaching approach that bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world procurement practice. She doesn’t just teach the syllabus — she brings it to life with practical examples from manufacturing, defence, agriculture, construction, and healthcare.

Katie’s style is direct, supportive, and often laced with humour. She’s known for making complex procurement concepts accessible and for giving students the confidence to tackle exams head-on.
